Diane comes from a family
deeply grounded in the developing, building and remodeling business.
Her parents owned a ski resort in Minnesota, where Diane grew up.
After closing the ski operation, her father and mother began developing
the land to help keep pace with the growth of the area. Diane,
ever the entrepreneur, decided to join her brother-in-law in remodeling
homes in Minnesota. She was able to draw from the vast experience
of her parents, and utilized those skills and observations to hone an
expertise which she would take with her to Texas.
Upon arriving in Corpus
Christi in December, 1998, Diane began building "spec" homes and new,
custom homes. Her reputation as an extremely honest, dedicated,
and detail-oriented builder quickly spread, as the quality of her
finished products were well noted by architects, subcontractors,
customers, and neighbors. She expanded her business to include
multi-family townhouses and condos, and also began remodeling and adding
on to existing homes.
Diane also believes in
giving back to the community. "Padre Isles and the surrounding
area have been very good to me and to my business. It is important
to be involved in helping the community grow, assisting families in
need, and working with all the businesses and residents to provide the
best possible environment for everyone to enjoy."
